NEW CARVER APARTMENTS FEATURED IN NATIONAL BUILDING MUSEUM EXHIBITION

A film about MMA’s New Carver Apartments and one of its residents is featured in the exhibition “House and Home” at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. New Carver Apartments, located in downtown LA, was designed for Skid Row Housing Trust. The exhibition is a tour of houses exploring the varied history of the American home. The exhibition, designed by the award winning New York based firm Ralph Appelbaum Associates, is organized thematically juxtaposing objects, images, and texts with interactive displays and films. “House and Home” opened on April 28, 2012 and runs for five years.
