RECOGNIZED BY THE
LA DOWNTOWN NEWS
MMA’s One Santa Fe and Star Apartments have been recognized as “Downtowners of Distinction” by the Los Angeles Downtown News. One Santa Fe, the recently completed 510,000 sf, 438-unit mixed-use development, was credited for adding vibrant street life at the edge of the Arts District and LA River, attracting visitors to the growing community through its new restaurants, shops, and supermarket opening later this year. The LEED Platinum Star Apartments, the firm’s latest housing project with the Skid Row Housing Trust, was celebrated for its innovative use of prefabricated construction technology. The project provides 102 new homes for formerly homeless residents, and includes an onsite medical clinic, a 15,000 square foot Health and Wellness Center, and the new headquarters of the LA County Department of Health Services’ (DHS) Housing for Health Division.
