SILAS NEWMAN

Silas Newman joined MMA in 2024 after completing his Master of Architecture at Yale School of Architecture. At MMA, Silas works on the office’s high-profile arts and education projects. Prior to joining the firm, he contributed to design initiatives at leading firms in New York City and New Haven. At Yale, he served as Project Manager for the Jim Vlock First Year Building Project, overseeing the design and construction of a home for an unhoused family in New Haven, and served as a Teaching Fellow for multiple design studios. His work has received recognition through various awards, including a nomination for Retrospecta and publication in The Classicist. Silas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Wesleyan University.
